Get Ready to Ignite the Fun at Firefest on October 20th!

We're thrilled to invite you to the sizzling extravaganza of Firefest on October 20th, 2023! Get ready to be dazzled by a captivating evening filled with exciting activities, mouthwatering treats, and unforgettable memories. There is the MAIN event of Firefest as well as two exciting supporting events.

Main Event Details:
Date: Firefest will be on Friday, October 20th, 2023
Times: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: The Landing Community Center, 5555 E. Ironwood Rd.
Admission: Free! Food is available for purchase (while supplies last)

Prepare to be amazed by a lineup of activities that promise to light up your evening:
- Bouncy Castles and Face Painting for the young and young at heart
- BBQ Plates and Burger Burn to satisfy your cravings
- Full-Service Bar with an array of beverages, including beer, to quench your thirst
- Polaris Trunk or Treat for some seasonal-inspired fun
- S'mores Bar to indulge your sweet tooth
- DJ to keep the energy alive and the dance floor rocking

Food Details:
BBQ Plates
- There will be 500 BBQ plates for sale provided by Firefest
- The plates will have Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Sauce, Beans, Slaw, Water, and Banana Pudding
- Price: $11 (Pre-purchase) | $13 (Day-of, if available)

BURGER BURN
- There will also be a burger burn at Firefest
- Plates will feature a choice of burger or hot dogs, chips, cookie, and choice of soda or water bottle.
- This will be for sale at the event for $6 a plate.

Supporting Event Details:
We have two supporting events that promise even more fiery fun:

1. Firefest Pitmaster Academy (R4R)
Want to learn how to grill? There is a 2-hour class on BBQ fundamentals, grilling, smoking techniques, and health/safety considerations. This event is in association with the Firefest event!

Details:
- Limited to the first 25 individuals who sign up
- Tickets: $5 per person
- Availability: Tickets will go on sale from September 25th - October 6th or until sold out
- Sign up at The Landing Community Center at 5555 E. Ironwood Rd. Bldg. 2050

2. Firefest BBQ Blaze
Who can cook the BEST BBQ? Make a team and join this competition on the day of Firefest!

This event is in conjunction with Firefest. It is a competitive team BBQ event with a panel of judges.

Details:
- We have 25 team slots available (as many members in a team can compete). After the first 25 teams have signed up, the following teams will have to pay a $50 registration fee.
- Team Registration: Sign-Up your team at The Landing Community Center
- Visit The Landing Community Center at 5555 E. Ironwood Rd. Bldg. 2050 to sign up for your team
