Hopapalooza is returning for the entire month of April 2021, and we have so much in store for you! This time around, there will be four whole weeks of virtual events, specials, giveaways, activities, and $6,000 in prizes to be won! We will also be taking this time to celebrate our community's amazing kiddos for Month of the Military Child.
Hopapalooza will be April 1-28 and prizes will be drawn on Friday, April 30. You must be registered to be eligible to win!
In order for us to track your points, you must register to play. Registration automatically earns you one point, so be sure to fill out the form below!
Complete any or all of the following activities to earn points! Each point equals one entry into our prize drawing, so if you have 25 points that's 25 chances your name will be pulled to win!

In the spirit of spring, we have released a number of desert critters and cacti onto the website! They can be found hidden throughout various images and places. Click through the dmfss.com webpages and see if you can find them all... you'll get 1 point for every correct critter spot and 2 points for every correct *blooming* cactus spot!
You can only submit your answers ONCE, so be sure to wait until you've found everything that you can!
To reward our frequent food/drinks purchasers, we've created a very special points-earning opportunity at Stripes Cafe and Sports Hub! During Hopapalooza, qualifying weekly purchases will earn you a plastic egg with a mystery amount of extra points hidden inside. Be sure to tell your server that you're playing Hopapalooza when making your purchase so they give you an egg!
To log your points, use the QR code located inside your egg and submit the form it leads to.

Between our own pets and the ample wildlife that surrounds us in Tucson, we know you have some fun, cute, and/or funny pictures or videos of critters... and we want to see them! Whether you want to show off your pet doing an awesome trick (or being a doofus), or want to showcase an epic animal sighting you captured while hiking, any and all critter spots are accepted.
Submit a short video or image of your own animals or any wildlife you've encountered in the desert for an extra 10 points per participant. We will make a compilation video showcasing everybody's greatest finds and post it onto our Facebook page after Hopapalooza ends!
By registering to play in Hopapalooza, any activities or qualifying purchases you complete throughout the month will earn you points! For every point you earn, your name will be entered that many times in the final prize drawing pool.
Prize winners will be drawn using a random name generator on Friday, April 30! We will list the winners on Facebook and contact each one individually to schedule curbside prize pick-up.
In celebration of Month of the Military Child, we want to offer your spectacular kiddo(s) the chance to win a Power Wheels ride-on car! Two lucky winners will be selected at random from the pool of participants. The coloring sheet is themed "Bloom Where You're Planted" to showcase not only the talent but also the resiliency of our community's amazing kids. Children ages 3-8 are eligible to win the cars.
To enter, first make sure you're registered for Hopapalooza. Then, just stop by The Landing Community Center or DM Lanes to collect a coloring sheet for your child(ren) to complete. You can also download one online at the link below. After your child has completed the coloring sheet, simply return it to either of those facilities (or send it to us via email or Messenger), fill out the completion form, and we'll get you entered into the prize drawing pool for the cars!
Coloring sheets must be turned in by Wednesday, April 28.
To further celebrate Month of the Military Child, we will be giving out bags of toys for FREE on Thursday, April 22! The operation will be done on a first-come, first-served basis from 10AM-1PM or until supplies run out, so no need to make a reservation. We'll be located at the Auto Hobby building (Bldg 4531), and the pick-up will be operated as a drive-thru.
Each family will receive ONE bag that's full to the brim with a variety of toys and games! This isn't a points-earning opportunity, it's just a way for us to give back to our amazing community. We will have ~300 bags to give away until they're gone.
1.1 Register to Play: Receive One Point for registering to participate.
1.2 Virtual Scavenger Hunt: Participate in the virtual Scavenger Hunt on our website, dmfss.com, any time from April 1 - April 28 at midnight and correctly list the pages where each numbered item was found at the appropriate link. Correct responses will count for 1 Point each. Find the location of the bonuses for an extra 2 points each. (Max points given: 20)
1.3 Survey: Complete the online survey any time from April 1 - April 28 and receive 5 Points.
1.4 Trivia: Participate in our weekly Social Media trivia contest and receive One Point for every correct answer.
1.5 Submit a photo/video entry in the "Critter Spotting" Contest. Each registrant who submits a spotting will receive 10 Points, even if multiple photos are sent. Photos must be sent via Facebook Messenger or Email to count.
1.6 Make qualifying purchases at Stripes Cafe or Sports Hub Bar & Grill and receive an egg containing mystery points. Eggs will be given per qualifying item purchased, and contain 1 - 5 points each.
All registrations and activity participation must be completed by Wednesday, April 28 at midnight. Everything done after this time will not be counted in the final prize pool.
2.1 Prizes will be drawn on the afternoon of Friday, April 30. Winners will be contacted directly by our office and the list of names will be posted on the FSS Facebook page. Winners must respond to us within one (1) week of being drawn or their prize will be forfeited.
2.2 No picking of prizes: if you are drawn to win a prize, you can choose to take or not take that specific prize, but you will not be offered an alternative.
2.3 Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes – unless otherwise stated.
2.4 One prize per person, must be over 18 to participate.
2.5 Completed prize form is required to obtain a prize.
2.6 All winners must complete a NAF Accounting form to receive your prize: this includes disclosing your Social Security Number. Failure to disclose your Social Security Number on the Accounting form will result in forfeiture of your prize.
2.7 If your name is drawn as a winner, you will have one (1) week to respond to our office in order to acknowledge your claim over the prize. If you do not contact our office within the given time-frame, you will forfeit your prize in totality.
2.8 Curbside pick-up of the prize on base will be scheduled with our office.
2.9 Kid's Coloring Contest winners prizes must be claimed by the parent's adult or guardian age 18+. The adult must be registered for Hopapalooza to be eligible.
3.1 Drawings are open to entrants ages 18 and older. Employees and family members of the following agencies are not eligible for entry: Force Support (CC, CL, CD, DD, FSO, CEM, CCF, Flight Chiefs, Managers, Assistant Managers, Marketing Staff, NAF Accounting Employees). Additionally, employees may not win prizes from the activity/facility where they work.
3.2 Grand Prize: Each family is eligible to win one grand prize drawing per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). If your family has won a grand prize the 2019 calendar year, you are eligible to win again now.
