What is pitmaster academy (R4R)?

The pitmaster academy (R4R) is an educational class that costs $5.00 a person and the course it taught by Firefest. This class teaches BBQ fundamentals, grilling/smoking techniques, and health/safety considerations in two hours.

How much does it cost?

The class is $5.00 a person. To purchase and sign-up please visit the Community Center.

Where do I sign-up?

Tickets will be on sale at the Community Center which is located at 5555 Ironwood St. Bldg 2050. Sign-ups are from September 25th - October 6th.

How many people can join?

This class is limitied to 25 individuals and is a first come, first serve basis to sign-up.

BBQ Blaze:

What is BBQ Blaze?

BBQ Blaze is a team competition event. This event is in conjunction with Firefest and it is a competitive team event to see who can cook the BEST BBQ. Protein will be provided but each team must provide their own seasonings/rubs.

How much does it cost?

There are 25 FREE team slots available. This is a first come, first serve basis. After the first 25 teams have signed up, the following teams who register after will have to pay a $50 registration fee.

Where do I sign-up?

Sign-up with a team at the Community Center which is located at 5555 Ironwood St. Bldg 2050. Sign-ups are from September 25th - October 6th.

How many people can join?

You can have as many people as you see fit to join your team.
